We are very excited to let people know that on February 4 and February 5, 2020, a Facilitator Training was held at Partners for Children.
Tammy Reis of Child Development Center and Jo Lukawitski facilitated the training.
Alongside the Facilitator Training, there has been a Handle with Care programming that was held at Yukon College which was an amazing collaboration.
Yukon College and the ELPs program from the CDC collaborated to off the HWC program to early childhood educators in the “Guiding Young Children” class.
This was an amazing collaboration which both the ELPS staff, students and teacher enjoyed.
Some student feedback said "I love every bit of the sessions, it helped a lot in realizing how important our work is as an early childhood educator." and "I would like to try hugging more, especially to children who feel sad or angry."
